Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the PriceSage app and website ("PriceSage", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using PriceSage, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use PriceSage.

What PriceSage does

PriceSage helps you keep track of the people you shop for, suggests gift ideas, watches product prices, and alerts you when prices drop. PriceSage is not a store: we don't sell products, take payments, ship orders, or handle returns. When you tap a link to buy, you leave PriceSage and your purchase is between you and that retailer, under the retailer's terms.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information, and only enter information about other people (such as a child's or grandchild's first name, age, and interests) that you have a right to share.

Prices, deals, and alerts

• Prices, sales, and availability come from retailers and can change at any time. The retailer's price at checkout is the price that applies.
• We check prices periodically, not continuously, so alerts may arrive after a price has already changed, and we can't guarantee we'll catch every price drop.
• "Top deals" and sale labels reflect the information retailers give us and our own price history; they aren't a promise of the lowest price available anywhere.

Gift suggestions

Gift ideas are generated automatically, including with artificial intelligence, from the details you provide. They may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Always check a product's age range, safety information, and description before buying, especially for young children.

Guest shopper mode

Guest shopper mode lets someone you choose, such as a child, pick items for a wish list on your device under your account. You're responsible for supervising its use. The in-app lock limits what a guest can do inside PriceSage, but it doesn't lock your device.

Affiliate links

Some links in PriceSage are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the retailer may pay us a commission. This doesn't change the price you pay. As an Amazon Associate, PriceSage earns from qualifying purchases.

The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse PriceSage — for example, by trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the service, scraping or reselling it, or using it to break the law or a retailer's terms.

Our content

PriceSage, including its design, text, and software, belongs to us and our licensors. Product names, images, and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown to help you identify products.

Ending your account

You can stop using PriceSage at any time and delete your account in the app under Account → Delete my account, or by emailing hello@pricesage.app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers

PriceSage is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we aren't responsible for products you buy from retailers.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PriceSage and its owners won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost savings or missed deals, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use PriceSage after a change means you accept the updated terms.
